Dear Sir, This is in reference to my Booking ID TFS-AT-C44304915 from Airport T3 to Pitampura. The booking was made through OLA App dated 25.11.2015


The vehicle number was DL 01 RT 7967 and the name of the driver was Dheeraj Kumar.


The fare amounting to Rs.322 including service tax was charged from OLA Money, electronically. However, the driver insisted to pay him Rs.150.00 on account of service and parking charges which was never charged before ever. However, I preferred not to indulge in arguments and paid him Rs.150.00.


Please be informed that driver also picked me from the last lane where only private vehicles are allowed at arrival terminal of airport T3. The driver reached to the pickup point after making booking for taxi through OLA APP within 3-4 minutes. I had not booked the taxi 2-3 hours before that makes me liable for making me to pay parking and other service charges. Driver had also told me that he has just dropped a passenger at airport and shall reach to me in 5 minutes.


The message that I got from AM-TAXIFS also reads “Kindly pay the driver Rs.0.


I consider it as deficiency in service and overcharging.


I had registered a complaint with TAXIFORSURE on 25.11.15 itself and got a reply from them admitting that Rs.150/- was charged towards airport charges which is government charge.  I am a frequent traveler and I know that there is no such charge government has imposed.


I again had written an email on 27.11.2015 seeking clarification on the matter asking 3 questions:


1. I would like to know if the State Government of Delhi or the Central Government of India has started charging the said Airport Charge amounting Rs.150.00.


2. When the Airport Charge of Rs.150.00 was introduced?


3. Why this Governmental Airport Charge of Rs.150.00 was not included in the invoice and charged from Ola Money and why did Taxiforsure preferred to charge this Airport Charge in cash through driver?


Unfortunately, I did not get any reply though I had sent other emails on 01.12.15, 07.12.15 and 15.12.12 for resolution of my complaint.


I have all the emails exchanged with TAXIFORSURE readily available with me.


I would like you to take up the matter and do the needful for reimbursement of the amount so charged fraudulently.


Although the amount is small yet I can not allow charging me or any passenger by unfair means. I am sure and confident that you will do the needful at your end and provide me with an early resolution.

    I had booked a ride with ola cab10 march 2017 at 8:30pm from Noida sect.45 sadarpur to ISBT kashmiri gate Delhi.which distance arounding 22.4 km.in google search but ola cab shown 61km something.which got upgraded from ola to a sedan and they charged me 1209 Rs to much.when me booked cab then ola app shown 471Rs.please let me know why you have deducted my account 1209Rs.

    Ola has now come down to the level of cheating their regular customers as they are aware of the dependency. I took a micro cab from tolichowki to bowenpally ( both locations as located by gps) on 12th April'17, the estimate showed me as rs 188 which was a normal fare (no peak pricing notification was displayed), but when the trip ended i was in for a shock as it showed a fare of rs 439. It doesn't end here, when i called the customer service, i spoke to Ajith, he said he would arrange a call in 1/2 hour, but i receive a call the next day, explaining they do not have outbound facility after 9pm. ( pls train your executives on it). Manish pandey spoke to me for 18 mins and here are the following reasons he gives, despite i giving him an impression that im a regular customer and im well aware of booking on Ola. Reasons given for charging high :
    - Drop area entered was inaccurate and therefore there was dynamic pricing, when asked what was distance between the entered location and drop off location, he said around 700m, i still continued with all my patience that its a gps located address & my home, so address is auto stored with me.
    - Tells me that I was charged 1.8 times of the fare, I said it didn't show any notification, he tells that peak pricing notification appears when the destination is not entered.( I laughed)
    - Just because there was a deviation in the route i.e may be 700 mts according to him, i was suppose to pay 2.5 times than the normal fare. God, pls explain there are certain customers who knows basics of using ola app & they end up entering areas which they are familiar than the drop location, so im really guessing as to what do they end up paying for the deviation..

    OLA, pls be true to your customers....it is very difficult now to go by your estimates as the actual fare can be a different number to pay...

    Hi,

    I have raised issue with OLA helpdesk but never get any satisfactory response.

    It has happened with me twice, they are taking advantage for their fleet in business and robbing customers.
    Recently on 22nd April 2017 i took cab from gurgaon to faridabad, after I dropped the ride did not get closed for whole day, when i raised complaint they said it is technical error, on sat with no traffic it shows it took 72 minutes for trip which usually takes 1 hour in peak hours as well. Later after 2 days I received the invoice in which thet have charged extra under Toll/Parking Fee as ₹137, where as the only toll for Gurgaon- Faridabad road is mere Rs 20 and there were no parking as the drop was to my home from office. These charges are mere cheating for Trip ID# CRN670202914.

    I had also reported the incident for Trip ID# CRN464687739 for which the driver earlier said his ola money is not working and wanted me to pay through cash, and when I paid through cash later the amount got deducted from my ola money as well.

    This seems to be repetitive issue when i have money in my wallet, their drivers do fraud and they never take any action to refund the customer due amounts

    Highly disappointed with ola cabs services and money fraud.

    I am regular customer of ola cab. I have booked ola cab vide crn no 675864761. Ajay Singh Driver of that cab behave unprofessionally and used abuse words. This is not expected services and norms like Ola Cab company.

    On 25th April 2017 i traveled in Ola cab from ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. i forget my bag in ola cab, though it valued only Rs. 800/- I immediately contacted driver Jitu Barot Mob. no. 703468229. he told that whenever in the evening he came nearby my place, he will call me to collect my bag. but he did not called me. I have called him at least 15-20 times within a week time but every time he told that he could not come or he is not in ahmedabad, thereafter I contact to Ola support, I logged a complaint on app, but no response, then I contact customer care he simply said that we are on bridge between cab & driver & they will only provide the number of driver, they will not call the driver or tell him, I told them that i booked a ola cab not the personal cab of that driver, so they should tell their driver, but the customer care person, refused to do so. So friends I decided, I will never use OLA CAB... You all too note that if any your any goods left out in the OLA CAB then OLA will not extend any support to you, If you are lucky and driver is honest then you can get your left outs, otherwise you have to take legal remedy.

    I think we should boycott the cab service who cheats you, in fact i suggest that every such incident should be circulated specially locally whats app groups so that all users know the modus operendi adopted by these cab services.

    I book ola from pristianacres phase 2 on 8th May nearly 3 ola drivers regretted to come coz of bad road. And one cab went to a different location and told us try some other cab. If this the case it's not our fault to cancel.

    My cab driver by following route which is given in ola app we reached drop point according to ola map but it was forest then we called customer care she told cab driver to drop me their which is forest .This is how customer care works in ola.have shame.

    I booked an Ola cab thru my mobile no. +919869169105 on June 01, 2017 for a ride on June 02, 2017 at 7.00am. The same was confirmed by them at 1.18pm on June 01, 2017. They failed to send me cab and driver details on June 02, 2017. When contacted on their contact no. +91 22 3355 3355 at 7.05am on June 02, 2017, they immediately sent the details. By the time I could call the driver, he had already cancelled the trip and gone.
    Please note, I had to attend a VISA interview at US embassy at BKC at 8.30am.

    I was charged an amount of rupees 459 today when I booked a cab today morning to go to office. I travel daily by Ola and the charges are around 250-290 but today it came to 459. The pick up was from Park View City 2, Sohna road Gurgaon and the drop was at Nestle house, sector 24, phase 2 Gurgaon.

    This is absolutely not acceptable and I would request you to immediately see into this matter and help me get my money back or some kind of amount should be deducted from my next ride. This is absolutely unethical and unprofessional.

    If an immediate response is not given to this, I will take this matter to Twitter and Facebook with my contacts and get it sorted.
