Sir I had bought an INDIAN TERRAIN TROUSER in LUCKY SHOPPING MALL NEAR DABAGARDENS on 11 Jan 17 and I had made the payment through credit card. I had washed the trouser on 01 Mar 17 and the colour had faded leaving the spots over it. I had approached the shopping mall on 02 Mar 17 and projected my problem to the supervisor over there. Mainly I was at fault for not saving my copy of bill and I was sure that a duplicate copy of bill could be obtained as I had done the transaction through my credit card. The supervisor had asked me for copy of bill which I didn't have and told me that the colour was faded due to washing procedure problem and the trouser can't be exchanged. I too agree that I don't have the bill at present but it shouldn't be the main reason as procuring the duplicate bill from the counter shouldn't be the big problem for the shopping mall. Now about the fading of colour of a branded item that too at first wash doesn't seem natural. It might be a manufacturing defect or it might be a duplicate product in the name of manufacturer. I was using the products of the manufacturer from earlier and I had not faced the problem till now. I had left the trouser at the counter only as I can't take back to my house and look over it and get disappointed whenever I see that. I'am writing this mail as the product might be of manufacturer defect or of duplicate product and I don't know how many more people like me might have faced this problem and it should not be faced by no other person in future that too going for a branded item and shopping malls.
