Damaged Inverter battery during AC Cleaning service

I booked the AC Cleaning service from Urban Company on Friday, 27th Feb 2026 at 2:15pm IST (Invoice No. # UCIC250027663648 & PIN2500016034974, Invoice Date # 27 Feb, 2026). For this booking, the 2 representatives from UC had visited my home address.

During the AC cleaning, the power went off in my flat and then they had wrongly plugged the AC power cable in the Socket where power was coming from Inverter backup.
Due to high AMPs usage by AC power cable, my Inverter got switched off and damaged the Inverter Battery (Exide).

Then immediately in few minutes, the power came back and all the sockets started working including AC's dedicated socket. So they continued their AC cleaning work using that socket and left my premises.

We first observed that the Inverter Battery got damaged and it is NOT working as expected when the power went off again on Monday 2nd Mar 2026.

I got this damaged Inverter battery checked by Exide service person and they concluded that the battery is damaged and it costs Rs. 19,000/- now.

Due to clear negligence of UC service representatives, the Inverter Battery got damaged. That is, this battery got damaged only because they plugged the AC power cable in a Socket when the Flat power went off and Inverter was supplying the power.

So, I kindly request you to please review this issue and help me get the expenses reimbursed for my damaged Inverter battery.
