Serving of hazardous food by Chaayos GK M Block Market which has caused stomach infection.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that Sunshine Teahouse Pvt Ltd also known as Chaayos having its registered office at Plot no.382, 100 Feet Road, Ghitorni, Delhi 110030 has flouted all norms of food safety and has caused deficiency of service. I as a citizen and a consumer has been put in serious risk and all standards of food safety have been repeatedly flouted by the Company namely Sunshine Teahouse Pvt Ltd also known as Chaayos.
Factual Matrix of the incident is as follows:

1. I visited their cafe at GK-2 M-block bearing address M7, M Block Market, Part 2, Greater Kailash, New Delhi, Delhi 110048 at around 11.00 PM on 04.08.2022 and upon reaching I ordered for a Chicken Puff (which they said were a new addition and clearly promoted it vide their menu) alongwith 2 Cold Coffee, One tea, One Keema Pao (the particulars are attached with the present E-Mail).

2. The same was delivered. However, upon receiving the said products and after consuming a few bite of the said Chicken Puff I was shocked to discover that the said puff was stale and had a repugnant smell in the middle of the puff.

3. Thereby, I went to the person on the Counter namely one Mr. Dharmendra who conveniently took the said puff and threw it away as if he was aware of the same. I informed him that it was rotten and after that he casually asked me to get a new one.

4. It was after I refused to allow this travesty and demanded answers he called up the store manager, one Mr. Sunil who conveniently doged to give any answer and refused to give in writing what has transpired in the Restaurant. It is pertinent to note that the Chicken Puff was not the only rotten item, it was also the Keema Pav which was stale and had a repugnant smell.

5. They further went ahead to be adamant, rude and in no way ready to inspect any food present with them. The serving of food that was so deplorable that I have puked at least 3 times in just 2 and half hours after consumption shows the dire condition of this Restaurant.

I humbly request you for your indulgence in the said matter and kindly do the needful and cease the present premise as it in itself is a threat to health and safety of people of Delhi. I further request you to investigate and check with all the eatery that is run by Sunshine Teahouse Pvt Ltd also known as Chaayos having its registered address at Plot no.382, 100 Feet Road, Ghitorni, Delhi 110030.
