Very Less train frequency

I am a student with a railway pass from Bamandongri to Nerul. I have to travel everyday for college. Being in hurry, if I miss a train, I have to wait from 6.30 am to 7.45 am (1 hr approx atleast) or use some other mode of transport. This makes it very tedious to travel and pointless to buy a railway pass. Even today, after missing my train of around 9.30 am from nerul, I had to catch the CBD Belapur train of 10.37 am. But, this doesn't solve the problem of when the TC asks for the ticket from Nerul to Belapur which is not taken into consideration for the pass, and levied a ticket of ₹255. No one would need to go to the alternate station to catch the train to Ulwe if there were any other trains with minutes of intervals instead of hours to catch from the same station! The alternate solution given by the TC was to take another pass for the different other route which costs another ₹120. If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't have to go on a student concession railway pass just to take the other train to reach my destination. Just increasing the train frequencies would solve most of the problems for this station.
