I had submitted an RTI request on https://onlinerti.com - on 11-Jan-2016 address #L66, First Floor,
9th B Main, Sector 11,
LIC colony, HAL 3rd Stage,
Jeevan Bheema Nagar
Bangalore - 560075

request no - Application No: 131069
regarding road transport office. however i had cancelled the RTI request on 12 Jan 2016.
When i asked for a refund they replied as follows :
"Kindly be informed that since we had drafted your application, wherein we had put our effort in going through your application and drafting the same according to the RTI Act, we will not be able to refund the amount paid."
Kindly help me understand if i can get a refund for the same.
