Passport delayed on DIB,Bardhaman

Sir/Madam, I am Suman Chowdhury,My, document verification for fresh normal passport was in local Police Station has been successfully done on 29/05/2016, the police told me on 26/06/2016 that they sent the all document on 03/06/2016, but till now I am getting the status "Pending for physical police verification at respective Thana under Commissioner of Police, District Bardhaman.". I shall be highly obliged if the case is being looked upon as I am in urgent need of the passport. As far my knowledge it should not take so much in issuing the passport. My application is complete in all respect and all the relevant documents are enclosed. But still its taking too much time.Please help me.
