I am a regular customer on Amazon India.On 13 August 2020 I had placed an order no. 406-0416387-3073947 for one number Lenovo GX20l29764 65W laptop adapter/charger with power cord worth Rs 1499 using amazon india app on my iphone. The seller was indicated as Appario retail private ltd and fulfilled by amazon. I needed an adapter for my Leneovo 110 Ideapad laptop. Now I was not clear whether the problem was with my charger or my laptop. The first step as per Lenovo is to check the adapter.I thought if the adapter doesnot help me use my laptop I will return it as in the past and get a refund. There was nothing in the ordering process to suggest that it was not the case. Even physical stores refund in such cases. On 16 August 2020(after waiting for a day since because of the pandemic) I tested and saw that the adapter does not solve my problem. When I went online to start the process of return I found that there is no provision for refund.There is no way you can contact Amazon in such cases. However on 16 August 2020 I tweeted the case and also sent a message on Amazon India's tweeter account.They have written back that they donot encourage "remorse return''. I did not know what this meant and wrote back to them also . They wrote to me that they will review the matter but so far has not got back to me.Before that they told me that they cannot refund and asked me to visit a service centre. But in this pandemic how do I go out and also the problem do not seem to be with the charger as otherwise I would have taken a replacement. Since I am aggrieved and facing financial loss I would request your intervention in getting full refund and for amazon to collect back the item. Thank you.
