Due to COVID-19 my father's work got affected and day-to-day going by became difficult. I recently gave UPSC Prelims and wanted to start searching for a job but in the meantime I also wanted to support my family and hence I accepted an offer from a company(Zenith Solution) who promised to provide Rs. 23,100 for 10 days work of entering CAPTCHAs I asked them repeatedly if it is genuine as I don't want to participate in any unethical work. They reassured me and entered into a contract with me with a liability clause of Rs. 6,900 in case of me failing to submit it. After only when I started to work I noticed the report isn't getting generated like they told it'll. After me pressuring them for so long they generated a report which is not mine as there are many blunders in there which I pointed to them. It also showed very few numbers as I entered at least 10 times more than the number it was showing. I wrote an e-mail to them that this isn't working anymore as they're not being genuine from their end.

Now, after 10 days they sent me legal notices that I've to pay 6,900+3,500(Penalty) and they're also instigating criminal charges on me due to breach of trust. But they created unfair grounds and also I couldn't afford such an amount of money as I wouldn't be taking such a job in the first place if I were. Please advise me what is the best thing that I can do in this scenario.
