I have purchased a Dell Laptop XPS 15 L502X with Service Tag: 2NL0ZR1, Express Service Code: 5779604989 on 11 Oct 2011 with Dell order no: 840509226, Customer No: 782366524, Invoice no: 8040366296. There were third party software purchases through Dell same has also been mentioned in my invoice & bill for which payment was made to Dell India Pvt Ltd. My laptop was delivered with all these software pre-installed. In February 2016 I started facing issues with laptop and visited the authorized dell partner service center located in Andheri west Mumbai. They diagnose that the hard disk has bad sectors and battery has stopped working so both must be replaced. I have paid 7000 for 1 TB Hitachi HDD on 7 March 2016 (Invoice no INV-EXCSPL-D35-15-16-1128) and 4500 on 12 March 2016 for XPS L501 Battery (Invoice No INV-EXCSPL-D35-15-16-1136) I also paid 1364 on 7 March for no receipts is issued. The charge of 1364 was service charge towards re-installation of third party licences-ed software I purchased from Dell and delivered to me pre-installed on my original purchase. I demanded that I should get the same software as stated in my original Invoice and Bill, however they refused to do so even though I shared the original product key I received from Dell as part of original dispatch. My issue is they should have provided me receipt of 1364 and also ensure to provided me the laptop pre-installed with software I originally purchased. Dell is now again asking me to purchase technical support and the laptop is not allowing me to install the licences-ed software purchased by me from Dell.
Due to this I do not have installed licence software purchased by me from Dell hampering my work. These software includes Anti-Virus McAfee and Microsoft office 2010. I am unable to use my laptop as both these software are not installed even though I paid for it.
A technical support person from Dell must visit my home and install the software on my laptop.
