With reference to the above subject, it is informed you that the PMJJBY Claim of late Bhagyanarayan Ray has been from your end citing reason date of death is prior period.
In this context, please be informed that the customer has enrolled to PMJJBY scheme on 22-11-2018 and the account of the costomer has got debited on 22-11-2018 (As it can be verified from the statement of account of the costomer). Aaj per the PMJJBY scheme the risk coverage start from the date of enrolment in to the scheme not from date of premium received by the insurance companies.
Further, latter no 12011/2/2015-Ins issued by DFS, Government of india , ministry of finance doted 12"^ February. 2020, herein it is reiterated that claims cannot be denied on the ground of delayed remittances.
In view of the above we again request you to settle this Claim so that the eligible claimant could get benefits the scheme. Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated.
