Fraudsters are getting customer database of policy holders from bank itself. These fraudsters call existing policy holders and lure about policy bonus. To avail policy bonus you are asked to mail pan card, photographs and passport size photograph of you and your nominee. Also they ask you to send a cancelled cheque and Rs.25,000/- cheque in the name of HDFC LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. There is a big racket behind this scam and they either loot your amount or issue a new policy without your consent.
Do not give your any details on phone. They call from various BPO Landlines, marketing numbers and mobile numbers. Most of the fraudsters are situated in NCR Region. I am giving list of numbers with names displayed on Truecaller app. Please do not entertain them.
