I have purchased a policy from ICICI Lombard General Insurance company for my two wheeler whose registration number is UP 65 Bf 6292 , idv was rs 22236 and valid from 23/10/2018 to 22/10/2019. Policy no. is 3005/42434952/10036/00. Unfortunately my bike was stolen on 03/10/2019. I informed up police dial 112 and lodged FIR and intimated insurance company through registerd letter on Lucknow address. I submitted all the documents and followed all the procedure as required by company norms . My claim no.is MOT10297244.
Company settled my claim with rs 18816 instead of 22236. I made complaint with consumer help line with docket no . 2610348 but company stated that there is breach of policy clause from my side for giving late information to company. But fact is that I have informed through registerd letter and same has submitted in inclosure. Company has not submitted my claim fully and deducted rs 3420 from claim value. I am being harrassed by company for settlement of claim
