Dear Sir/Madam,

In august 2015 hdfc sold me an insurance policy in lieu of fixed deposit. the agents of hdfc bank came to my house to prove how this investment policy was better than fixed deposit. i queried to them whether i could discontinue the policy just as fixed deposit by paying penalty, they said yes.

i had lost my job and
this money which i deposited in my saving account was by selling my flat. i tried to engage in a business activity but failed. in march 2016 i emailed to hdfc life to terminate my policy and refund my money, initially they refused but on 30th march 2016 they agreed to pay back my premium. i have an email proof of their agreeing to refund my money. when in june/july 2016 i went to the branch to collect the refund they refused and after a long email communication they kept refusing to refund. they even called me 2/3 times to put pressure on me. my policy no. is 17836263. I request you to look into the matter and let me recover my money. thank you so much.
