I had placed an order (ID: NMS1610091206632W) on 09/10/2016 for Rs. 4986.01 with www.netmeds.com. The mode of payment was Cash on Delivery (COD). The order was cancelled by the company and a new order was created against it on 12/10/2016 (with Order ID: NMS1610121221933WRC) without my consent. However, the date that was reflected in the website for the new order was 09/10/2016 instead of 12/10/2016 when it was actually created.

Upon inquiry (chat with customer care) I was told that the ordered quantities were not available and hence the order was recreated by them with the available quantities. I waited till 15/10/2016 but the order was not shipped by the company. Again I contacted customer care to find out how soon the order could be shipped. I was not given a specific date for shipping.

Another prepaid order, (ID: NMS1610101210208W) for Rs. 2346.00 placed on 10/10/2016 was already shipped by that time. With this experience, I was sure that COD orders are being given a lesser priority than prepaid orders. I therefore cancelled the COD order as I had an urgent requirement.

Now I realise that cancelling the order was a good decision as the prepaid order that was placed on 10/10/2016 has not been delivered even after 15 days. This proves that the company does not take reasonable care in ensuring timely delivery.

Adding to my inconvenience and causing further confusion, another order (ID: NMS1610091206602P) was created by the company without my consent and was subsequently cancelled by them also. The date reflected for the same was again 09/10/2016 but infact it was created after 12/10/2016. I did not ask them the reasons as they never give satisfactory answers.

My money is blocked for 15 days and I had to buy the medicines from the market by paying cash again. If the company takes such long time to send medicines from Chennai to Bhubaneswar, what is the point in ordering online? Drugs and medicines are products of serious nature and if not received in time, the whole purpose of buying them gets defeated.

I have lodged two separate complaints against Netmeds Marketplace Limited In the Consumer Support Portal, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. The docket numbers for the same are 59266 and 59280.

I demand an immediate refund in addition to adequate compensation for the inconvenience caused, failing which I shall move to the district consumer forum with my case.

    netmeds cheats their innocent customers
    I ordered medecine , netmeds asked for doctors prescription which uploaded too. But instead of delivering prescribed drug cheaters has sent medecine matching the rates of ordered medecine.

    Even after calling 4-5 times customerscare they stopped responding.

    If complaintis listened by any one a reverse pickup and money reverse is still pending
