Less weight Domestic LPG cylinders fraud

Remuna Gramin Indane Bitarak Dist:Balasore Odisha has assigned small distribution centre to Kalama GramPanchayat dist: Mayurbhanj block: betenoti Odisha.

The Kalama gramin distributor continuously providing less weight domestic cylinders ranging from 27Kg to 28Kg. We complained repeatedly about the less weight but they are not responding and in the upcoming refill, they are providing similar less weight cylinders only.

We did request to weigh the cylinders at the delivery centre Kalama but they refused and informed about the non availability of weighing machine.

This fraud is going on since last 2 years to each Indane consumer of Kalama GP. We do have more than 1000 house hold domestic consumer in our GP and everyone is impacted due to this weight fraud of LPG gas cylinders.


We do humble request to investigate the consumer rights and fraud scenarios .
