I have saw an ad on olx at 11dec 2018
And we both have chatted and he said that 8500 is a final price iPhone 6 32gb he said u have pay through online Paytm so I said I will not pay on Paytm he said he is an army man he said his number and his name was Ravi kumar prajapat and he send his Aadhar card and pancard and food card so I trusted him because he is an army so I have transferred money 900 first advance and last his after delivery person said that u have to deposit 2000 first so I will come to u and iwill give the parcel and he said I will get reply from courier office the I will come and I will give u the parcel like that 5600,5150,5150,5150,10300,10300,10300,1000,12050,1000 this the total amount he has cheated me 77900 rupees I’m requesting that please try to catch them and try to refund me my money plsssssss I’m requesting Indian army office

    A similar incident happened. I shall explain very clearly the modus operandi.
    1. Add posted by me of a home marble temple.
    2. With 30mins of posting I get a call named bishnoi (as per truecaller).
    3. Like a fool I quickly agreed for a price -10% very soon.
    4. He said he can transfer via paytm/phonepe only.
    5. With reluctance I agreed as I was insisting on gpay.
    6. Later he sent me QR code with some fake message typed saying ' xxxx' amount transferred.
    7. On carrying out the further steps , it was actually a fake QR code with a money to be received which was 10 times the amount.
    8. All this time his another agent stays on the phone line while you do the txn.
    9. So when asked with why such a a large amount, he laughs and says that's his balance .
    10. Be careful as that amount is what you will be paying via paytm UPI.

    11. **** Watch for the fake QR code****
    No UPI logo.

    12. Verify the aadhar card.its mostly not genuine.

    Fraud army person (he said).He wanted my to buy my cycle and said he will only give the money by online method..and then he took the 4500 rs. By cheating ....I hope this person gets arrested soon.

    Hi Team,

    I posted an house for rent ad in 99 acres website. After 30 mins or so I got a call from person named Ravi Kumar Prajapat, claiming he from Indian Army.He said he will transfer me 20k as token advance. Thank fully I did not get into his trap. His captain called me asking me to make GPay of 5 rupees. I asked why should I pay? He said that's the army process. I didn't pay. I don't know how much I would have lost if had followed their process.
