Dear Madam/Sir,

I am like to highlight the fraud done by Sahara Agent Mr. Paritosh Kumar (Agent code: 816232000069), Address: Kumar Tola, At. Po. Sehoul, Dist: Saharasa, Bihar. Mobile number: 08877466346.

1. My grandmother late Bindeshwari Devi had invested money (Rs.82500/-) in Sahara Q shop (Plan H) in August 2012 at Saharasa branch, Bihar. My grandmother was around 78 years old that time and her reading power was weak.
2. The Agent had got his name filled as nominee in the form and taken the original certificate. After my grandmother death through reliable sources we learnt the matter and enquired with the agent. Agent Paritosh bluntly refused to know anything about the investment.
3. My grandmother expired in May 2017. After her death we had to visit the Sahara Saharsa office and requested your team to help us out. We learnt that there is an investment done by my grandmother and the nominee is the Agent. The entire form has been filled by the Agent in his handwriting. Your Regional Manager also at Saharasa branch could not justify how it has happened.
4. The agent took undue advantage of my grandmother old age and poor sightedness and made himself the nominee. The agent is no way in blood relation to us.
5. The Q Shop receipt number is 071017581945 dated 29th August 2012 and hologram number is 992044664485. Receipt is printed by Rakesh. We don’t have the original certificate with us as it’s with the agent.
6. We have learnt from our village that the agent had done such type of fraud with other people also in the village. Also we have learnt that the agent has taken money from villagers in the name of depositing there premium amount and had not yet deposited it.
7. Recently Agent Paritosh Kumar has given the exam of IRDA and successfully passed it. I am really surprised that IRDA would be giving license to such fraudulent persons.
8. My Grandmother had few other investments in Sahara and in all policies/investment; nominee is her son Pramod Kumar, my father. You can see other account number such as 16234802393, 162348023934, and 16234802395 where my dad is nominee.
9. We stay in Mumbai and it’s difficult to visit your Saharsa office every time.

I request Sahara to help me out in the following:

1. Stop the payment so that agent Paritosh Kumar cannot encash it.
2. Let me know the process what next to be done. Whether you need any FIR etc.
3. How can my father (who should be the ideal nominee) get the money back as policy is maturing in August 2018.
4. From Agent code, please search your database and let me know how many other policies have been issued to my Grandmother Late Bindeshwari Devi. We are dead sure there are few other more policies and agent is not disclosing us.
5. Also let us know what action you are taking against your agent?
