Somedays back, I watched an advertisement on TV about IRDA Frauds wherein people have been advised to be aware of any calls declaring Bonus on their Insurance Policies and report those numbers to Police immediately. I received some calls, during the start of this year 2016 and unfortunately, I became the victim of this fraud. Caller told me that he is from Exide Life Insurance and I need to take some policies which would be cancelled and refunded soon. I invested certain amount in those policies believing on those fraud calls however now I have realized that it was my mistake and after watching the adds , I would like to share those numbers with Police. I tried to submit those numbers to local Police station here at Manpada Police Station , Dombivli Thane, however , they asked me to have a word with Exide Life Insurance first. I approached Exide Life Insurance, however they have just taken my complaint and is not taking any action on that. Numbers from where I got these fraud calls are as follows : Sanjeev Verma ( Main Fraud Agent ) Mob No – 09718004772 Gaurish ( IRDA Fraud Agent ) Mob No – 09821879066 Company Details Metis Marketing Services Pvt Ltd Advisor Code – 60314490 Mobile / Landline Number – 9821129744 I researched a bit about these kinds of scams on internet and found out that, above agent’s, calls from Metis Marketing Services, Situated at Delhi. These agent will assure you to Cancel Policies afterwards and give you the refund or some loan benefits , however once the Policy is sold, they will stop attending your calls and you are gone. On Facebook page of Exide Life Insurance: https://www.facebook.com/exidelife/, you can see many complaints like this which are related to Metis Marketing Company agent frauds with different agent names and phone numbers. I am not sure now whether I will get my policies cancelled and get my refund but as a responsible citizen of this country, I feel it’s my duty to inform you this and save others from being robbed using this fraud alliance. Hello sir, My self ANKUR BAROT. And i am from ahmedabad, Gujarat. I have call from your METIS MARKETING SERVICES PVT LTD from Delhi. But when they called me first time, She told me that she is from citibank from pune gorpadi brach. And the girl name of neha (from this no 7838140205) for overdraft facility against HDFC life insurance policy.
So i asked her, If you can't give me a overdraft facilty than can i canceled my policy? She replied that, yes. You can cancel your policy within a 1 month. Than her senior which name is krishna (from this no 7065148374) called me for further details. So i agreed for new purchase new policy. And i am existing HDFC life insurance from since last 5-6 years. So i trust on them. So i took the policy on date 8th jan 2018, and the policy number is 19956755. And i got the policy paper at my home on date 18th jan 2018. But they can't give me a overdraft facility. So on 10th feb 2018, i canceled my policy by mail. But HDFC told me that, my cancellation period was gone. Because of its was 15 days. And Neha, krishna and aashish said me that, my policy cancellation period was 1 month. But after cancellation neha, krishna and aashish not receiving my calls. So i visited the HDFC branch at sg highway. And they told me about the METIS frauds. So i complaint against then at HDFC main branch in ahmedabad. They took my complaint but said me that, You have to fight alone. Because of your mistake. So i have to write mail to you sir. Please do the needful.
I request to you, Please refund my payment, because of my personal cash crisies. And i visited the HDFC life insurance branch. And they told me that, You caught from fraud with metis marketing services pvt ltd. I think, i took online policy, but its not online. Its offline. I want to catch those frauds. And i took the policy on 8th jan 2018. I got the policy papers in 17th jan 2018. And i cancelled the policy on 10th feb 2018. And they told me that, i can cancelled my policy within 1 month. And now HDFC told me that, its 15 days cancellation period. And i am existing customer of HDFC LIife. So i have trust on HDFC. But this is very bad experience with HDFC. I sent you the agent details. And please contact them. They are not answering my calls also. And they are doing frauds for policy.

This is approx my 5th mail to HDFC and i visited the HDFC branch for 2 times. So this is my last warning to HDFC and Metis marketing also. But they are not supporting as well.

And i requesting you angrily, i had mail from service@hdfclife.com of cancellation and i atteched here. But in your mail, HDFC said, My cabcellation period gone after 15 days. But when i have called for verification, they told me that, i can cancelled tha policy within 1 month after collecting papers. And if u have don't trust me, you can check recordind from your customer care department.
And i have all proof in mail and also contact no of metis marketings frauds and all that which is required for take legal action against frauds but still HDFC not taken legal action against frauds and support the frauds and give the execuse to the customer. Well services of HDFC. In my whole life, This is the biggest frauds for me. And not supporting by company. And company help to the frauds, nor customer.
Now, is hdfc not going on the frauds way??
