Hi,

I am consumer of MAHADISCOM, my consumer ID is 160230307145 Billing unit 4603/Hadapsar Sub Div Pune.
My Feb 2016 electricity bill is shoing consumption more than actual. The bill amount was Rs.2450 which is usually around Rs.500. I checked my electricity meter and it is showing around 600 units consumed in 10 days. Then I Contacted MAHADISCOM Hapasar Pune Sub Division, they suggested to go for electricity meter test. The test was positive, they are telling Meter is OK there would be some fault in your home. I went for that also and checked my internal home connection and found OK. Here i want to mention one more point that in my home i don't have any electrical equipment(like AC, geyser, washing machine etc) that can consume that much electricity in just 10 days.
After meter testing, meter is working properly. MAHADISCOM member was telling since meter tested OK, You have to pay the bill whatever the bill amount (containing around additional 600 units).

I think the electricity meter itself is faulty as 600 units of electricity cannot be consumed in just 10 days in a two room flat.

Request to interven and do the needful.

    My consumer number is 170854978121. This flat is locked then also my unit comes to 6. So I have complained to the officer Mr.Vijay,vadgaon, near Abhiruchi mall regarding the bill which was shown as faulty. He told me, it will be all ok from the next billing but still now, my meter shows current reading-15 and electricity consumption unit-6. How's this possible? I am not staying in this flat and bill payment is done regularly by ECS still the meter status is faulty ? Whats the use of complaining to mseb office and why I am paying high if electricity if consumption is negligible ? Can someone help me out with my issue?
