Respected Sir/Ma'am,
I am a student from Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai campus. In our campus there are very strict rules for girls like they are not even allowed to go out on weekends and also they are not allowed to campus if they enter the gate after 6:00pm which is very ridiculous. In this modernising society it is very sad to know about the restrictions like these especially for girls. Here, in this country where everyone are supporting woman and girls to come forward and put their mark in every industry they are in , it's so disappointing to see a university which is very well-known to the entire country is not showing equality between genders. Even though there is medical emergency or appointment of a doctor they are not allowing girls outside just for the reason that the appointment is fixed at 5:45 pm . The authorities were very rude to students.
