Videocon D2H connection - Remote battery not working after one week of installation

Got installed second Videocon D2H connection in Nov 2017 for HD satellite box. The satellite box along with Remote was provided under one year warranty. The complaints for Remote battery started being pooped on TV just after a week of installation , that battery is down, plz replace.
I continued using despite problems till 2 months -despite sometimes channel not chnaging, volume not changing because of low battery. When i logged complaint in jan-2018 , for replacing the battery under warranty, their technician is asking for money for battery, saying it is not under warranty.
i protested i was given whole set under one year warrnaty and your remote is not working even after just 2 months , you should replace remote or batttery in free. They are not doing --and arguing. I guess the original battery was replaced by the old one by their technician and supplied to me. However plz replace my remote or battery for free under warranty of 1 year. only 2 months gone.
