I bought MTS Homespot instant WiFi 3GPLUS network datacard, Model No. AC3633R2, MDN No. 8459529184 Post-paid, from M/s Roop Telemart, QU-132-A, Shop No.3, Pitampura, New Delhi 110 088 on 19.2.16. This was activated and subsequently deactivated within a span of few days due to my financial constraints.. I got it activated again on 3rd May 2016. The speed of the internet was 0.28kbps. Very very rarely it was above 25kbps, when it should have been at least min 2Mbps for the internet to properly function. They promised speed of minimum 5Mbps while buying. This was severely hampering my official work. I wrote them several mails. Mr. Tarun Jhoshi, MTS Customer care wrote back that the place where I am staying is a low coverage area and hence variable speed.Then he wrote back that their team is working on it and there may be multiple users in the area which is creating problems. In all we exchanged 12 mails, which I can share with you,but my problem remained as it is and they said they cannot help and even won't refund the cost of the kit. The service was deactivated and now they want me to pay for the services availed which is indeed less i.e Rs. 199, but they should first pay back the kit cost and man-hours lost due to slow net speed. The customer care representative also told that if the kit does not function properly with respect to net speed the same will be verified by technical team and then cost of the kit will be refunded. I seek your help and cooperation in this matter. I am a middle class citizen, stay in a rented flat with my family, lost my father recently and was without job for 5 months. For me Rs. 1300/- cost of the kit is a pretty big amount. Now that I have started functioning from my residence and internet is a must I lost valuable days in May unable to work and thereby undermining my overall performance in my newly joined company. I had to go for MTNL WiFi connection which is excellent. Kindly look into the matter.Thanks. Yours Sincerely, Amitav
