I had made a payment towards the outstanding amount on my credit card on 6th Dec 2016. The amount was credited to the wrong card number and since then I have been charged interest on overdue payment.I was asked to sign an indemnity form and justification letter for wrong payment and then the amount was credited to my card, but the bank is refusing to reverse the interest charged. The mistake of crediting the payment to the wrong card is not due to my mistake and the entire interest should be reversed.
