I have booked my luggage from Dibrugarh to Guwahati with Gati Dibrugarh Office. I had faced many problems even while booking my luggage. The luggage was delivered to me much after the expected delivery date. on the date of delivery I was informed by the local Gati office that one of my container was broken due to manhandling by their staff. While receiving the package I have seen that the lock which I had put in my container was broken, most of my clothes were damaged, and two of my expensive items i.e a watch and a sunglass was missing. I had immediately clicked pictures infront of the delivery boy and informed the customer care about the theft. After that they have sent an external surveyer to my home and have valued my loss to Rs 10000 approx and have collected my original documents like blank cheque, id proof and shipment documents for verification. I had been waiting for their reply since then. They didnt reply to my mails or didnt reply my calls repeatedly. It is almost 3 months from the date of first complaint.
