Not Encashment of NSC after maturity date, Sr. Superintendent of Post, Jalandhar

I was buy 02 Nos. 5- years National Savings Certificate (NSC) No. 80DD 724546 & 80DD 724548 of Rs. 5000/- each from Sub-Post Office , Basti Nau , Jalandhar on dated 16.02.2013 and the maturity date of the same was 16.02.2018. The total maturity cost is Rs. 15,235/- ( 7617.50 + 7617.50).

I was approached to said Sub-Post Office on dated 03.03.2018 for encashement of said 02 Nos. NSC. They was informed that it will be take one week time to release the said payment, as it is sanctioned by the Senior Post Master and they will be inform me for the on my mobile number 09990932420 regarding the same. I was very shocked & feel strange that it take one week to sanctioned for such small amount of Rs. 15,235/- .

After long wait of the call from said Post Office, again approached to said post office on dated 12.03.2018, but they again told that it will be take two more days. Then, again approached to the Post Office on dated 14.03.2018 , but they again given the two more days time.

Further, on dated 17.03.2018, I was call to the said Sub-Post Office on their Phone Number 0181-2254218 and they replied that their Boss still not sanctioned the amount and it will may be sanctioned on Wednesday or Thursday ( 21.03.2018 or 22.03.2018).

I feel very strange that only an amount of 15,235/- take such long time to release.

Than, I have send the e-mail dated 17.03.2018 to Sr. Superintendent of Post Office Jalandhar with regarding above issue, but I have not receive any response from that office till dated.

I feel very stressed and upset from the such behavior of Postal department regarding release my hard-earned money.
