I bought an earring from the Myntra eCommerce website on 4th June 2022 and it was delivered on 6th June 2022. First of all the product delivered was not what I had ordered for. Secondly, it was defective that is broken. I informed Myntra on their website on 6th June 2022 itself immediately after I received the delivery of the abovementioned product and I chose to exchange instead of getting a refund. For two days I kept trying to select a suitable product but every product I chose was shown as undeliverable to my PINCODE. I then after several attempts decided to opt for a refund. But in spite of updating the bank details several times, my money is not refunded. I have written to Myntra support several times and spoken with several customer care executives but to no avail. I requested the customer care executives to even pay via 'demand draft' or 'Myntra credit' which they said that their system does not allow.
I even visited my bank to investigate the matter but there is nothing wrong with my account. I deposited cash at the branch and even transferred a small amount via a mobile app which is visible in my bank statement. Obviously, the problem lies with the Myntra which they are not rectifying.
It's more than a month and they have failed to refund in spite of their promise to their consumers that they refund the money paid within 24 hours of its initiation.
I have spoken to several executives who keep me on hold and waste at least 1 hour of my precious time every time I call.
I am not even allowed to post a review on their website as it is a negative review highlighting their inefficiency.
All the above is a complete violation of my rights as a consumer and false promises to me valid the consumer that the refund will be made 24 hours.
I am sharing the invoice for the earrings and a trail of emails sent to Myntra and their response to me.
