Hello, my name is Tejas Tonpe. I have purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Plus Mobile for 90,000/- Rs.

Bymistakely my mobile has fallen down into the bucket of water and it has stopped working. When the mobile has fallen down at that time the back cover was also there on the mobile. It means double protection right, and hardly just 2 - 3 seconds of time have been taken to remove the mobile from the bucket. Immediately I have removed the back cover and I have wipe out the water with the help of towel & also I have removed the simcard tray and kept the mobile under fan for drying.

When I kept the mobile under fan for drying the back panel of the mobile got removed, I was totally shocked because the back panel and the battery is not removeable. If someone wants to open the back panel then it requires heat gun and some Mobile tool kit. Inside mobile some water drops was there so that also immediately I have wipe out with the towel. Now the problem is my mobile has stopped working so I have taken the mobile and shown in the Samsung service centre. Samsung employee have checked my mobile & he told me that because of water the display has gone. So display issue is there and it will cost you 19,990/- Rs.

Now the main scene is the device is IP68 Dust & Water Resistant. On Samsung website they have clearly mentioned that the device is IP68 Dust & Water Resistant. Also on gsmarena.com & also on gadgets.ndtv.com it has been clearly mentioned that the device is IP68 Dust & Water Resistant. It can be submersion upto Max 1.5 meters under water for 30 minutes. And the bucket dept is hardly 0.5 meters which is less than 1.5 meters. So the mobile should survive and the time period is also they have mentioned that for 30 minutes. Forget about the 30 minutes, the device is not survived for 30 seconds also. This all things I have told to their employee but they are not listening, they are charging me almost 20,000/- Rs which is not acceptable for me. Because they are fooling the customer in the name of IP68 Dust & Water Resistant. If they are not giving the claim for water damage then why they have mentioned that this device is IP68 Dust & Water Resistant..? On the Mobile box also they have mention that this device is IP68 certified. By using this claw they are taking the advantage of this and selling this mobile, If the mobile is IP68 certified and due to water if any damage happened then they should not charge for water damage. I'm attaching all the images regarding this issue, you can check it.

If they are not giving the claim for water damage then they should not mentioned that this device is IP68 certified right. If they are telling that this device is IP68 certified then they should give the claim for water damage. Because what exactly the meaning of IP68 Certified ? On google it is clearly mentioned that IP68 certified stands for dust & water resistant. So according to this claw they should not charge me for water damage. So I kindly request you that please look into this matter and do the needful as soon as possible. My all work is pending and facing so much problem due to not having the mobile. Mostly my work depend on the mobile, so I kindly request you that please solve my problem as soon as possible.
