Delay in Payment of Refund for order cancelled

I have purchased the Mobile & its back cover from flipkart.com on 24th Aug. '2020 with delivery in 4-5 days, but the same was delayed endlessly without any status update from flipkart customer care. So after waiting till 3rd Sept '2020, I have cancelled the order & requested to refund the money. The cancellation was immediately accepted, but till date I have not received the refund of my money. Again the customer care has standard answer that we trying our best to refund your money & Refund process is initiated.
I don't understand why they need so much of time to refund money. I have purchased through my friend's debit card and right now every day I have to call him for refund status, giving extremely guilty feelings to us.
I want you to take action on the company & get me my refund money with interest as well as cost of harassment. Also charge them huge penalty, as they is no way to get any help after order & ridiculous customer care.
