Unhygienic Tea sold by Jivraj Tea Limited as Lump of tea found with Fungus found on it.

I had purchased a Tea pack of 500 Gms of Jivraj 9 CTC Leaf from a retail shop one of the reputed brand of Gujarat named Jivraj Tea Limited. Packing of the tea was in the month of September 2018 with Batch No GUJ-244/180901 & I had purchased it in the month of December 2018. It was clearly written on the packet the tea is “Best Before 12 months from the packaging” On opening the packet I found a lump inside the packet & when I was surprised to see the lump was of tea & it was covered with white fungus on it. I immediately called on the customer care number 0261-2500999 which was printed on the back side of the packet & described the issue with the tea inside the packet. The customer care executive assured me to send a company representative who will come at my address & meet me in person.
The company person came to me & listened my problem and finally took away the packet assuring me that they will check in their company laboratory & let me know the details of the report with no specific time frame.
Almost after 1 month I called the person who had collected the packet about the status of my complaint as I did not receive any feedback from the company or the company person. The person said there is no problem from the company end it is from my end. I asked the officer then kindly give me in writing as you must have conducted test of the tea packet which was being taken from me stating the problem is not from the company end & it is from the consumer’s i.e. my end, but the person as well as his supervisor denied to give me the same in writing.
Hence even after complaining & the way the complaint was handled I am very much dissatisfied with the product as well as the company’s approach in which way they handled was very much dissatisfied. So kindly register my complaint.
