I bought Nokia 6.1 plus in October 2018. Many of the Nokia models have manufacturing defect in charging port and it is acknowledged by Nokia. My phone started giving problem after some time but it was not very frequent. Now it is giving problem frequently and charging very slowly due to problem in charging port. I complaint to Nokia and first they agreed to replaced the charging port free of cost but then they told that my phone is out of warranty and it will be chargeable repair. They are not accepting it as manufacturing problem but their web site has this listed as known problem in many of the models sold in India including Nokia 6.1 plus. This is known to their head quarter in Finland also and their Chief Product Officer also has acknowledged this problem. However, Nokia service is not accepting it as manufacturing problem and asking me to pay for the part as well as service charges. Due to slow charging, there are chances that the battery may get premature failure and I might need to replace battery also in near future.
