Subject:Please return my KWID Car in the same condition as it was delivered to Renault Dhanbad - Absolute Auto Pvt.Ltd. (RD-AAPL)

I am a retired officer of M/s. Bokaro Steel City, SAIL and I stay at Sector 3-D, Qr.No. 70, Bokaro Steel City, Pin-827003, Jharkhand.
I purchased a brand new car [(Model: KWID RxT MT -Petrol) with Engine Number: MEEBBA005G3342111 ; Chasis number: E037085 ; Registration number: JH10AY 6123, now onwards referred as MY-KWID ] on 21.03.2016 by paying Rs.380559.00 (Rupees Three lacs eighty thousand five hundred fifty nine only) plus Rs.46672.00 (Rupees Forty six thousand six hundred seventy two only) i.e. by paying total amount of Rs.427231.00 (Rupees four lacs twenty seven two hundred thirty one only) to M/s. Renault Dhanbad- Absolute Auto Pvt. Ltd.The amount for purchase of MY-KWID was paid from my retirement savings.

The 1st and 2nd Free servicing of MY-KWID was done at RD-AAPL workshop 2nd servicingon on 11.08.2017.
I married my youngest daughter (Dr. Jasmin Kumari) in the month of June’2017. All my retirement savings was spent on the marriage.

MY-KWID met with an accident on the highway between Ranchi and Bokaro Steel City but I was able to drive the car back to my house at Sector 3-D, Qr.No.70, Bokaro Steel City. After giving call on the assistance number provided in Renault KWID booklet, One Break down service agency - TVS Auto Assist (India) Ltd. came to help, who finally took the vehicle to RD-AAPL showroom cum workshop on 02.09.2017. The estimate for repair of MY KWID was given from the technician/ mechanic/ helper at workshop at RD-AAPL for Rs.53468/- (Rupees Fifty-Three thousand four hundred sixty-eight only).The name(s) of mechanic/ helper who gave repair estimate at the workshop of RD-AAPL was Dipak/ Santosh/ Vinay, with mobile numbers, who gave the estimate for repair of MY KWID. No quotation was given on the RD-AAPL letter head as informed by RD-AAPL personnel’s and they also told that they do not provide quotation on their letter head for repair of Renault cars.
Due to the problems in the marriage life of my youngest daughter married , my wife Smt. Renuka Burnwal fell sick, she was taken to Ranchi for check up . I delivered MY KWID on 02.09.2017 at RD-AAPL showroom cum workshop at Dhanbad.
The incidents viz. illness of my wife, estranged marriage life of my youngest daughter and theft of my house at Asansol devastated me . Due to huge expenses in the marriage of my youngest daughter, I was not having sufficient money and current assets to take care of my daily needs. No pension from SAIL. In fact I along with my wife became totally dependent on my son for small sum of money. In fact I borrowed Rs.6500/- and paid to RD-AAPL on 05.10.2017 for repair of MY KWID, out of the total estimate of Rs.53468.

Due to non availability of cash I was not able to deposit the repair amount at RD-AAPL. Groom side finally filed a Court Case at Dhanbad Court in Jan-Feb’2019 for divorce. Next hearing of the case is in July2019. After saving money every month from the amount given by my son I was able to arrange for Rs.50000/- and visited RD-AAPL showroom cum workshop at Dhanbad to take delivery of MY KWID on 29.04.2019. But I was astonished to hear that MY KWID has been burnt at a fire at the workshop cum showroom at RD-AAPL. The personnel’s/ officials at RD-AAPL informed me that “ Your KWID has burnt in fire at RD-AAPL showroom cum workshop”, so your vehicle cannot be delivered. A retired person of 72 years does not have so much of physical strength to fight your RD-AAPL. I requested all at RD-AAPL to give MY KWID back. I asked them that why they had not informed me about the burning of MY KWID by any mode viz. mobile, letter, email, they had no answer. In fact one of the official at RD-AAPL told me to take Rs.50000/- and settle the matter and forget about MY-KWID. The responsibility of MY-KWID lies with RD-AAPL .

Sir, I want MY-KWID back at my house at Bokaro Steel City as soon as possible. I am even ready to accept MY KWID in the same condition as I had given it to RD-AAPL on 02.09.2017.

I urge you to make arrangements for delivery of MY KWID. Please do justice to customer of KWID. Please arrange to return my KWID before the end of this month. My full address is given in invoice at Annexure-1.

Complaints made to Renault India- Complaint number 406759181 on 14.05.2019; again complaint made on 12.06.2019 complait id 406893374. Meeting held with official of Renault Dhanbad on 31.05.2019, informed that new KWID will be given but will take time. But till date no Car has come. Now we have no other choice but to file a complaint in consumer court.
