Not provide the warranty eventhough the vehicle is in warranty period - Ford India

Hi, On July 15, I was travelling from Surat to Ahmedabad on NH48. It was raining heavily. On my way, near Ankleshwar, suddenly my car got turned off. I tried several attempts to start it but no luck. I called Ford roadside assistance at 5:00 PM and asked for help. Roadside assistance team told me that they can provide me only towing facility. No technical assistance can be provided on site. The Towing vehicle came at 8:30 and picked up my car to the service center. The service center person called me and I was informed that some engine parts are damaged due to water entry in the air filter. My concern is how come water would enter into the engine through air filter suddenly, while the vehicle is running on NH48? This incident is a design failure of the vehicle and company should cover it under the engine warranty. My engine warranty is 2 years/1 lac kms. I asked the company to provide me the warrany but they have denied. I also asked service center team to explain me how water can enter into the engine whlile the vehicle is running in the normal condition but they have failed to do so. My vehicle has run 20,000 kms and is 15 months old. Circumstances, under which my vehicle was damaged shows, my engine must be covered under warranty but company & service center people are trying to cheat me and without any firm reason are denying the warranty provision.
