Respected Sir/Madam,

I am G. Sandhya Rani, currently residing in Bangalore and visit my parents in Rajeev Nagar- Hyderabad during vacations/occasions else short trip if emergencies.

During the month of August 2016 I had given an expensive rare design, colour and model saree with blouse worth Rs. 4000/- to be stitched at Rajeev Nagar tailor shop owner name Ms. N. Manjula, as a known fact that Hyderabad has been the best in tailoring price and quality matter compared to Bangalore charges. All the measurements, designs and alterations was and the sample blouse too was given and charge was fixed at Rs.4000/-. I asked for the bill but she denied saying that they don’t maintain as they are known people in the colony since long. I appreciate the tailor that she had given in time as I needed before I leave to Bangalore. But to my surprise I found that it is been stitched smaller size, I immediately went to her about the issue but she did not turn up to shop inspite of making many calls and waiting at the shop for long hours, thus I had to leave to Bangalore disappointed. I felt cheated and I did not want to involve my parents in this regard as I understood that now she is trying to escape from the issue and if I involve my parents she would convince for some ordinary replacement as per her comfort and ease.

I came in November first week for 3 days as there was a home Goddess pooja at my parents home and on the last day of return I visited the tailor for the same above issue. She came out with many excuses and was trying to blame me for coming late and that now I am trying to take out more money and malign her business for no reason. The model of the saree is rare which comes with checkered blouse pattern and I said to compensate for the whole damage caused but she denied. The argument went on for long to compensate for the loss and finally she agreed for blouse replacement only and would courier to Bangalore once she gets the same material and gets the maggam work done on it. But I did not accept the blouse stitch done from her as she was not that expert and she would pay for the Bangalore tailoring charges of any amount that would bill and the same she accepted. Since I had to leave to Bangalore I had no choice but accept at least to some compensation she was offering and I gave her my Bangalore address to be delivered within 15days as I have to leave back to home to Bangalore. It had been 25 days and no call from the tailor. I called up the tailor as it was coming to my nerves and could not wait for the delay as I missed many festival and events where I could have wear. The tailor’s first mobile number (9603498166) reaches to a wrong person and tried for second number (8801005909). Upon asking as expected the tailor said about her health issues and non-availability of the fabric material and disconnected the call.

It has been 5months since the damage done and the tailor is neither contacting me nor answering my calls. The damaged blouse is with her. I request the authority to kindly help me getting the whole compensation for the damage done. It costs me ₹.5000/- for the same work done at Bangalore price. Hence requesting for the refund of ₹.5000/- for the damage.
