My SBI card No. was 4377-4846-1402-1320. The Bank is sending misleading SMS stating “in line with RBI’s guidelines, we’re extending the moratorium for payment of credit card outstanding…”. Looking at this SMS I delayed the payment for the month of April, 2020 by 3 days i.e. I paid it on 10.4.2020 instead of 7.4.2020 when my friends told me the message is misleading. The Bank took Finance Charges of ₹3,040.19- plus CGST ₹273.62 and SGST ₹273.62 totalling ₹3,587.43. My repeated calls to the call centre, complains in app and email went in deaf years. The call centre asked me to pay full amount and raise request for refund, which I have done. But the Bank is refusing the reverse the amount. The Bank also changed my card to 4047-4575-3565-2258 due to which I am not able to raise further complaints. Please help me to get refund of ₹3,587.43/-.
