I had submitted an online complaint to the RBI Ombudsman against ICICI Bank - Complaint No. 201617014009479, Dated 17-Oct-2016.
This complaint was acknowledged on 14-Dec-2016: through an auto generated acknowledgement received from RBI Ombudsman. Copy sent to aparna.mukherjee@icicibank.com.
After 4-months, on 20-Feb-2017, I received an e-mail from Ms Anita Aggarwal of RBI, that complaint was wrongly submitted to Banking Ombudsman - New Delhi, instead of Banking Ombudsman, New Delhi II. The complaint was, therefore, being forwarded to the Banking Ombudsman - New Delhi II for redressal of the grievance.
The delay in processing my complaint is unacceptable. It is ridiculous if RBI wakes up after 4-months to realise that the complaint has been sent to the wrong department.

आदरणीय,
महोदय, आपसे आपसे विनम्र अनुरोध है की दिनांक 08/05/2021 को सायंकाल 7.45 को 08513921463 इस नम्बर से कॉल आया।
उक्त व्यक्ति ने खुद को icici क्रेडिट कार्ड department का अधिकारी बताया।
उसने मुझे एक लिंक भेजकर उसे फॉर्म फील करने को बोला,
तदुपरान्त मुझे anydesk नामक एप्पलीकेशन डाउनलोड करवाया और उसका कोड लेकर के मेरी मोबाइल की सारी गतिविधियों को वो आपने सिस्टम में देख पा रहा था, और मेरे क्रेडिट कार्ड से तीन ट्रांसेक्शन कर के मोबाइल में आने वाले otp को देखकर के 35125 rs का धोखधड़ी कर लिया।
जब मुझे इस घटना की जानकारी हुई तो मैंने उसके लिंक और काल को डिसकनेक्ट कर के , इस तमाम घटना की जानकारी icici बैंक को दिया।
RBI के नियमानुसार यदि किसी प्रकार की धोखधडी से सम्भाधित घटना हो और उसकी जानकारी दो दिन के भीतर बैंक को दी जाए तो हम उस धोखाधड़ी से बच सकते है।
जो मैंने किआ।
अगर इसके बाद भी अगर ICICI बैंक मेरी मदद इसका सुलह कर के नाइ देता तब आप मुझे RBI के नियमो के उल्लंघन का कार्यवाही की जाए।
यह यह बात स्पष्ट है कि मेरे साथ हुए धोखाधड़ी की जानकारी तुरंत बैंक को दिया,
उपयुक्त व्यक्ति ने ANYDESK एप्लिकेशन का प्रयोग कर के धोखाधड़ी को अंजाम दिया है,
इस घटना पर ठोस और निष्पक्ष जांच की जाए।
और मुझे इंसांफ दिलाई जाए,
बैंक के ऊपर कार्यवाही की जाए।

I had submitted an online complaint to the RBI Ombudsman against ICICI Bank - Complaint No. 202122022000498 Dated 22nd April,2021.
During this covid time this loss meant alot for us. Since, the fraud is not due to my negligence, it is either because of the negligence of the bank which may be attributed to extremely weak Fraud Prevention and Detection Systems or due to any third party breach hence my liability is "ZERO", as per clause 6 of the RBI notification RBI/2017-18/15 DBR.No.Leg.BC.78/09.07.005/2017-18 dated July 6, 2017, the same can be found at https://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Id=11040
Hence, it is requested to reinstate the total fraudulent amount (INR 203,908) into my account, and take all necessary criminal action against the perpetrators of the crime. I urge Delhi Police, concerned departments to help us in this tough time.
