I wanted to open a savings account in ICICI Bank with a starting balance of 25,000. However the bank denied that if you want to open a bank acc you need to opt/buy any of the services FD/RD/Insurance. The bank also refused to open a savings account with a minimum balance of 10000 which is against RBI guidelines and continuously insisted for 25000 in addition to opt for any scheme.
