Complaint regrading SpiceJet airline for Irresponsible behavior of SpiceClub member

This is w.r.t. the subject query regarding the procedure to obtain the free birthday base fare ticket as a SpiceClub member.

It is really unfortunate and surprising that a query raised on 06-Sep-16 has been answered after nearly 25 days and that too, when an escalation was raised to Nodal officer.

Points to be noted:
06-Sep-16: Query raised with custrelations@spicejet.com seeking procedure on how to obtain the base fare free birthday ticket
06-Sep-16: Auto-reply received from Spicejet stating the executive will get in touch shortly
02-Oct-16: Escalation mail sent to Nodal officer informing him of no reply received yet from Spicejt and seeking intervention for the same
03-Oct-16: Call received from Mr. Anup who acknowldged that there was no reply provided from Spicejet and on the contrary, questioned me as to why did I not call up the customer care. Also, he said that all details cannot be uploaded on the website.

Points requiring justification:
Why there was no reply from Spicejet till the mail I dropped yesterday, i.e., you took 25 days to reply to my email, as a result of which I remained unaware of the procedure to book the ticket and thereby as per your mail, deemed ineligible to avail the benefit. This is certainly not my fault as I had raised a query well in advance and it is indeed total negligence on your part to not reply to the same.
Lack of clarity and transparency on www.spicejet.com regarding the procedure to avail the benefit.

It is now clear that the airline misleads the customer by first enticing him to become a member and then keeps him in the dark about the procedure to avail the same. This clearly shows your dubious intentions of cheating the consumer to deprive him of the benefits he is entitled to by becoming a member of your so called SpiceClub.

This callous attitude of Spicejet definitely needs to be brought in front of the masses by sharing such irresponsible behaviour and am sure there will be many like me who will agree with the same.

By going through the transcript of my talk with your executive Mr. Anup today, you will note that he has admitted that there has been an inordinate delay on the part of SpiceJet to reply to my mail.

I have been deprived of this benefit with no fault of mine and only due to the sheer negligence on the part of Spicejet officials.
