DANGEROUS ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION IN DDA FLATS

Dangerous illegal construction - 'violating DDA by-laws' - in progress' at CC-48/D, Shalimar Bagh, Delh-88 (near PS.)
CC-48/D - not even an Original Allottee - in collaboration with other flats in the same column, is constructing additional rooms & bathrooms on the rear side(ie, on top of the Sewage Tank behind) of the flat. They first attempted to break the sewage tank to raise a huge piller from inside the Tank to the 4th floor for support/holding the said encroachments; but stopped it due to hue & cry raised by the adjoining residents. What they are doing now is a Dangerous construction by Road-side Thikedars; Each encroached rooms & bathrooms are being made so as to suspend from the corresponding flats - without any supporting pillar(as mentioned above) from the ground. This is not only structurally dangerous, but will stop free flow of Air & Sunlight to the adjoining flats & won't allow the Sewage tank beneath to be dried - encouraging horrible stagnation in the Sewage-Tank & creating environmental problem leading to pollution & disease. It is, therefore, prayed that urgent & immediate action be taken to help stop such illegal construction.
