Charged INR 17000 Vodafone postpaid connection, even though the credit limit was 5000

Vodafone has charged me Rs. 17,000 on my postpaid connection even though the credit limit set by the service provider is Rs. 5000. They have barred my calls and data connection and asked me to clear the amount.

Now, my concern is that, when my credit limit (INR 5,000) was reached, why did the company not suspend my services.

I'd no idea that I was being charged beyond my credit limit, which is there to handle exactly these kind of situations.

I'm facing a lot of issues at work and in general as my telephony and data services are barred and want Vodafone to acknowledge for their mistake and mishandling of the issue
