Sir/madam,
It is my honour to use this forum in order to take up my grievances for your kind consideration. i am a serving personnel of Indian Air Force currently residing in a rented house whose actual owner is Mr. Y P sharma.Address being of this flat is---UG-5, plot-18 Shalimar Garden, Extension-1 Ghaziabad(U.P). The concerned electricity board for this area comes under division- EUDD VI Ghaziabad C/O Sub- division (TEMP SDO)1509239, that finally perform under Pascheemanchal vidyut Vitran nigam Limited(PVVNL). though, primary task of this department is to serve monthly bill against consumption of every household in this area and subsequently, collection of payment, the department has failed to perform its duty in a fair manner. In a recent incident i have been served with a monthly bill of Rs. 10444 saying that my meter was displaying defected reading over last 18 months, and this huge amount is slapped as a part of recovery procedure. Although, i have already paid the due amount without delay, i would like you to be aware of some facts and figures:-
It is one of the most difficult task for a government employee to sustain such unpredictable expenditure without confirming its validity as to to what extent he is responsible for this.
It is not a duty of a consumer but the concerned department official to have a check over meter redaing and its correction, if defected.
Salary of a Gov. official like me, meant for a particular purpse breaking up into several requirements, school -fees to daily utilities, in sujch situation such a loss would be suicidal alike.
Subject aforesaid case study clearly spells out that Electricity board is equally responsible for this as they did not rectify the meter nor had any check of its proper working , on account of this a case of dereliction of duty may be registered against them.
As I, being a consumer, paid all dues on my part compromising my own need and requirement, it is the dduy of the electricity board to give me concession, that they denied.
In this rfegard, I would like to request you sir that a significant amount of total paid dues Rs. 10444 may be reverse into my account.

It is very said to inform that we residing shalimar Garden Extension 1, where from night 11.00 PM (25.07.2016), and now (4.15 AM 26/07/2016), light is. Not available and concerned electricity Delft/board is taking pain for proper electricity in this area. Shalimar Garden is well developed area and 100% consumers paid electricity. As such, this is the responsibility of the depth.to take care.
