Ola Cabs Debiting of money as Ola Select Member without consent/ Subscription

Sir
1. I deposited an amount of Rs 2999 in my Ola App account in Mid Oct since I was going to Delhi for a few days and expected to use the service on as required basis.
2. I got a msg that on trial basis I could be Ola Select member for 7 days free of cost which I agreed to.
3. I used Ola on 3 occasions during 5 days for about 500rs.
4. In Dec end when I had to go to Bangalore, I was surprised to see that the balance had reduced by almost 980rs. I lodged a complaint about it to Ola customer care.
5. On speaking to customer care I was told that the amount of rs 490 was being deducted every month as membership subscription for Ola select. However I never gave any consent to make me a permanent member after initial free trial.
6. The customer care told me that they can't help me out since I did not get back to them for cancellation.
7. It is pertinent to note that for any debit in balance they send SMS but no such SMS was received by me. Further, I never consented to be a permanent member and no such intimation was received by me. Customer care said it might be in email. I never found it since lot of junk mail keeps coming and goes unseen. However I never consented for such thing.
8. PSE advise how to make sure that no one else gets cheated this way.
