My self dr Prashant jain, i visited the famous resort chain sterling holidays in Goa that is villageo,
I took the lunch and dinner at their restaurant on 28 feb 17. When i went to reception counter for payment of bills they show me the bills were service tax and vat both were apply on the same amount. And i talked with the manager of restaurant about the excess taxes charged , he was speechless and not able to answer of my questions, and he took the side ways by " will solve your query by asking account section".

And i took the dinner at poolside not in restaurant still they charged service tax.


As there billing was done by the software so they didnot give the receipt of the same.

As i was cheated for the first time by this Sterling restaurant, and there were so many numbers of customers were there with me. And so many numbers of restaurants in india..

So thousands of indian citizen and thousands of foreigners were cheated with this kind of billing procedure,

So the govt get less amount of tax and owner of resorts and restaurants get the huge amount as a black money...
