We were cheated with new scam of QR code by this person who claim to be army man and wanted to purchase a product which we had put add in OLX. She shared all his documents and his tone was also very professional. We only agreed to him if he transfer the amount to us then only we will finalize the deal. Next day he called us and shared Paytm QR and told us to scan and the amount will come to our account, however it went reversed and the amount was debited from my account. We did test with smaller amount on same system and it worked well. He then said that there was some issue and he will send the amount + the deal amount again. He shared the scan and again it got debited to my account, in such he cheated me for 1.21 lacs. This was huge amount and no one was ready to help us out in this case. We had logged a case with local police with all the evidence.
