Online Fraud Complaint Complaint Date: September 2, 2020
Dear Sir/ Madam,

I got cheated by this agent Captain Umesh Yadav, who said he is having office at KGN TOWERS, IN COMMENDER IN CHIEF ROAD, EGMORE (CHENNAI) in the name of Marine Placements PVT LTD. But he seems to be at Jaipur (since he was having account holding at FINO BANK which is at sanganer, Jaipur) His Mobile No-7066509747

He promised to offer a job in ship for my candidate (JASVIR) and looted money.

This UMESH YADAV said he will shortlist and select my candidate profile for ordinary seamen position for PINE ARROW (Singapore based ship) and asked me to pay 5500 in advance, Which was paid online on 12th Aug 2020.

Then after a day he sent his letter of joining and agreement letter for joining the ship. Then sent me board pass and ok to board letter. Then asked to pay 89500.
it was paid online on 16th aug. Total paid 95k to him.
On 20th aug he told candidate to go to port trust at cochin. When candidate went to port trust, security stopped him entering inside. When we called Umesh Yadav, he gave a port agent contact to talk to him. When candidate contacted that port agent ( RANJIT RAJU), he asked this candidate to pay 27k if he needs joining in ship.
Candidate got shocked and complained me.

Also captain umesh yadav ASKED TO PAY ADVANCE FEE FROM OTHER TWO CANDIDATES saying that he will offer jobs in ship for other two candidates also. In that SECOND candidate paid 5500 on 14th Aug and THIRD CANDIDATE PAID 5000 advance fees on 16th Aug for umesh yadav.
Total captain umesh looted 105500 over all. When i contacted captain umesh after the payment, he was not picking up his call.
Later he told me to inform the first candidate to go to port (at cochin) for his joining and boarding pass for this candidate.

That candidate (who paid 95k) was waiting outside at port for almost 3 hours and went back.
When i was doing research about captain umesh yadav, i came to know that he was operating different comoanies: godwin shipping (APPEARED IN TRUE CALLER), MALLIKARJUN SHIPPING (MENTIONED ON HIS WHATS APP) & MARINE SHIPPING PVT LTD (MENTIONED ON HIS VISITING CARD WHICH HE FORWARDED ME VIA WHATS APP) & KASAR SHIPPING (IN FACEBOOK). And he told me to transfer online the fee for the candidates. His account detail showing FINO BANK (SANGANEER BRANCH AT JAIPUR).


I have attached all relevant supporting documents for your kind reference.
