Not yet refunded amount for cancelled flight

My flight for pune to dubai on 19 march got cancelled by air india express (pnr FTYBRK) And it is clearly written in cancellation mail that i can opt for full refund. But not air india exprrss is denying that. Sentence from air india mail:
You may modify your booking to another flight/date at no additional charge.
Alternately, you may ask for a full refund .In case you opt for a refund,the amount will be refunded to original form of payment at the original point-of-sale

I am looking for getting my and my frnds amount to be refunded.
