TRD Refund and PERSON TRAVEL CANCELLED THE TICKET AFTER CONSULTING THE CUSTOMER CARE at IRCTC

PNR 8149747563 a TDR was filled because 4 out 1 ticket was confirm & Others were in Wait List and when I called customer care IRCTC a day in advance after the chart was prepared I was given suggestion of 2 options (1) If the ticket is cancelled and TDR is filled I will get the refund (2) one passenger travels and gets an EDR from TC for 3 passengers waiting list and then post the same to western command office. I felt the first one was fine and I cancelled the tickets. I have been writing to various authorities but no one is interest to pay me back and are asking for EDR. HOW WILL A PERSON TRAVEL IF HE HAS CANCELLED THE TICKET AFTER CONSULTING THE CUSTOMER CARE at IRCTC. From where I will get an EDR.

    Note that if still the refund is not reflecting in your account, we suggest you to send us the complete bank statement (From Date of Booking till present Date) scan copy/screen shot by hiding the credit/debit card no. to pursue the matter.
