I bought a mobile phone one plus 3t from amazon.in on April 23rd, 2017 and bought an insurance from syska for the same.
As per the insurance policy if the phone gets broken or lost, they will give the claim for the phone.
The screen of my phone got broken on 31/10/2017. I applied for the claim on 1/11/2017.
I did not receive any verification call till 15/11/2017. Then they asked me to upload the required documents for claim which i had already uploaded.
On 16/11/2017, i received a call stating that they need the delivery invoice instead of the invoice sent by amazon, though this invoice had every detail they wanted like IMEI no, invoice date etc.
As I did not have the delivery invoice, they asked me to share the delivery confirmation mail from amazon with them. I happily shared the mail.
I did not get any response from them. on calling them to check the status, they said, they want a mail with the date specified on which the delivery was made.
I had to give into their senseless demand and called amazon customer care to help me out by sending the mail with delivery date mentioned. They happily did and I uploaded on syska website and informed their customer care by call also.
Next 3 days, everyday I called to take the status and they had the same question to me that your case is pending for delivery invoice.
Every time i cleared to them that as per your customer care’s suggestion I have uploaded the mail from amazon as a proof instead of delivery invoice.
Now even after 20 days of applying for the claim, I am clueless when will i get the insurance or will I even get it or not!!
In today’s times, living without your mobile phone even for a day is very difficult and in this case it’s already 20 days!!
I am having the feeling that they are just trying to harass so that i stop following my claim.
i would kindly request you to take an action against them for delay in claim resolution.
