I am Arpit, Policy holder of Reliance Religare, Policy Id 10747084.

I have been facing some issues regarding filing a claim for health insurance with Religare Health Insurance.

I had fallen ill and had to rush to emergency room last year. The student insurance which I had taken from the company said that it covered such a scenario. Before going to emergency room I had contacted the company to ask for Cashless centres in Raleigh, NC areas. I was given address of a local hospital where I went.

The cashless was however denied and I was told that I would have to pay the money first and could claim for it later. Believing this I payed $6000 for emergency room visit and various tests to get a diagnosis for my illness.

I filed for claim and they rejected it Orthopaedic clause to reject the claim.

If you know anyone who could suggest me, how to proceed now, it would be of great help. Any advice is welcome.
