Mobile damage insurance claim is rejected for invalid reason

I bought iphone6 on 11th April 2017 and take insurance policy of Quick heal Gadget Securance on 18th April 2017 by paynig 3500 rs.Now My phone is damaged on 30th Jun 2017 due to an road accident and I claimed for it(reference no 6001071374).I sent all required documents including purchase bill but they rejected the claim with the reason that "My device is activated before I purchased it".How this possible even I am giving the bill and if this may happen then why they didn't verify it before selling the policy While doing sales they don't check such things and later reject claims. Now I loss my phone as well as money which was invested in purchasing the insurance policy.
If they don't accept my claim then they should cancel the policy and return my 3500 rs(Policy fees).
